10 Affordable IKEA Accessories you will LOVE

If you’re looking to add some cute decor accessories to your home and don’t have anything specific in mind, then this post, my friend, is for you! I have handpicked some IKEA accessories that I think are absolute steals. They are multi-functional, aesthetically pleasing, and will definitely add a lot of style to your space. Above all, they are super affordable (all under $19.99)! I do have most of these accessories in my house but a couple of them are on my IKEA wish list. So wherever possible, I’ve included pictures of how I use these accessories in my own house to give you some ideas on styling.

If you aren’t already following me on Instagram, make sure you do that to see the behind the scenes of all my decorating (and life)!

So let’s get into the list, shall we?

[1] VÅRGYLLEN Cushion Cover, CAD $6.99 | USD $5.00

What can I say about this pillow cover – it’s black & white and has stripes. It can be styled vertically or horizontally and it literally looks good in every spot of my house. Believe it or not – these pillow covers are actually what laid the foundation for my current living room and led me to visualize a minimalistic space. More on that in a living room tour coming up soon! 😉 The picture below shows how I have used these pillow cover cushions on two chairs beside my fireplace.

[2] DEKAD Alarm Clock, CAD $9.99| USD $6.99

The classy clock is on my shopping list for my next Ikea trip. Looks very pretty on a nightstand or even on a chest or dresser! It’s just a cute accessory that can add interest to any space.

[3] ARSTID Lamp, CAD $19.99 | USD $17.99

You can’t beat the classic look and shape of this lamp’s base and shade. I have two and want to get another pair because they look good wherever I put them!

[4] Sockerhard Jug Vase, CAD $17.99 | USD $14.99

This little pitcher vase is so stylish and multi-functional. You can use it to display fresh flowers, pretty fake flowers, or even keep it on the kitchen counter to hold wooden spoons and other utensils. I have personally used it as a cute little centerpiece on my breakfast table.

[5] RIBBA Square Frame, CAD $9.99 | USD $6.99

Ribba frames are so inexpensive and come in many sizes. This square one displayed below is my favourite because it can be hung on the wall, or placed as a photo frame on a table or shelf. It’s a really thick frame so it adds some great dimension to the space.

[6] IKEA PS Dark Blue Candestick, CAD $19.99 | USD $12.99

I love the dark blue candle stand shown in the picture above. I’m currently keeping it on my dresser but I move it around my house all the time. It looks beautiful on a fireplace mantel, or on a dining table as well.

[7] TEJN White Faux fur rug, CAD $14.99 | USD $14.99

This faux fur rug is the perfect accessory to add a touch of luxurious texture to any corner of your home. I’ve used it as a rug, a seat/chair cover, and of course, as an accessory for flatlay photography 😉 You will see it all over my instagram page.

[8] FLADIS Basket, CAD $12.99 | USD $12.99

The Fladis basket is sitting in my shopping list for a long time because it seems to always be out of stock at my nearest Ikea! Can’t wait to get my hands on it. It can be used to tuck away a throw or extra cushions and it’s got a really cute shape.

[9] LINDVED Sidetable, CAD $19.99 | USD $19.99

This sidetable is just perfectly light and stylish. You can use it as a bedside table, or even beside your couch. It’s round in shape as well which is perfect if you have little kids around because you dont have to worry about sharp corners.

[10] BORRBY Lantern, CAD $8.99 | USD $7.99

This lantern is just the perfect mix of old and new with its little handle, straight lines and bold design. Pop in a block candle, light it up and let the lantern look pretty!

So that’s all I have for you (for now). Pin these images so you can come back to this post later if you want. There’s so many other Ikea items that I would love to share with you.
